“Now that’s an expression.” Nathaniel uttered from where he was stood, taking in the fresh air and the somewhat calmer atmosphere that stepping away from the activities had allowed. He could still hear the laughter and screams from the haunted house he’d taken up residence beside however. “I can’t work out if you’re enjoying yourself or not.” He stated, sipping down some more of his beer.

“With you looking like that, we’ll be lucky if we stay out for even half of the Halloween event.” Clara complimented her husband, grinning at him as they stood in line for one of the seasonal snacks that was being sold. “Maybe tonight will be the night for us and everything...” She didn’t want to specifically mention in public that they’d been trying for children, she’d not even mentioned it to those closest to her but she was still hopeful. 

By this point, Lysander had swallowed back a few drinks and was feeling more relaxed as he conversed with Evan. Normally his filter was practically non-existent, it was even less present when alcohol was involved. “I hear what you are saying but I still have no idea who you are. Did you just steal the coat off a healer or something?” He questioned, scratching his head lightly.

“Do you think they have beer pong here? Not that I’m always focused on drink but I mean, it does combine two things I enjoy and usually when we play you’re the one who ends up doing the most ridiculous forfeits.” Reid spoke energetically as they weaved their way in between the crowds. “I definitely know I have seen the apple bobbing but it’s too early to ruin my make up.”

The costume that Alexus had picked wasn’t exactly the easiest to see out of but there was also the extended legs that were attached. It was when she nearly took another person out with one of them that she made a sound of alarm when she turned. “Sorry, sorry!” But when she saw who it was the girl took a slight step back in shock. “Astrid?”

“Dinosaurs... dragons... pretty much the same thing. Of course you’d go for something like this.” Jaxon stated with a little chuckle ad he admired her choice of costume. “It has history and fascinating creatures in it.” Jaxon held out a drink to the woman. “It looks good on you though. Very cute.”
