Given the recent Discourse, I'd like to recommend a (long) essay on Ao3 called "On the Subject of Noncon Fanworks: Thoughts of a Reader, Writer, Survivor" by Anarfea (from Sherlock fandom). As you might imagine, the author is very frank about some traumatic things, so maybe not a good read for everyone (it is tagged appropriately, so use your best judgement), but it's a brilliant essay on why fanwork policing is so harmful. I thought maybe you or your followers might be interested.
