Rough Trade | Halle & Chiron | 01/06/14
Never before in his life Chiron expected to become some kind of a teacher later on. He saw himself constantly in the military, slowly but surely working himself up from the rank of an enlisted officer until he got his first commission. And then he would keep working to try and rise even higher. One ambush had changed all that for him and destroyed his dream, his life goal. He had spiralled down into the abyss without anything to occupy him. Even though he hadn’t been comfortable at first with the thought of having to deal with young criminals and other kind of teenagers and young adults who lacked perspective and manners, he accepted the job offer quickly enough and by now he even liked it.
Chiron tried to give each of his recruits an equal amount of his attention and time but of course he wasn’t perfect, so sometimes it took a while for him to get back to one of his recruits because others had occupied his mind. Today he had his newest charge as his center of attention. Halle had been in Division since a week and the handler scolded himself for not attending to her sooner. As usual he was early for the combat training in TR1 since he liked to see which of his recruits would be on time, late or early. He was always looking for something to improve in them, because he only wanted them to go out on a mission if he was sure that they were up for it. Slowly the room started to fill and the sound level rose steadily but so far there was no sight of Halle.
