I really love this comic but the “Sozin was the worst because he hated gays” thing kind of bothers me. Like yeah that’s horrible but I think the whole genocide thing is a way bigger deal.
I read it as more “There was nothing good about that guy ever” than “he was bad because of this one thing”, like we are given PLENTY of reasons to not like Sozin virtually from his introduction. I doubt Korra is specifically blaming his homophobia as the solitary point against him.
