Loved the ride today in my hometown... Riding around my old neighborhood Al Bateen area brought back so many memories... Love it here, so calm and green, huge contrast with riding in Al Qudra in the desert. So today I had a 70 km ride and 4 km run and the day started with a beautiful sunrise and near perfect temperature. 30 km in to the ride it started getting windier and windier until it became a fully blown sand storm... Funny thing is, there is nothing you can do, you have to put your head down and continue to the finish line.
