Total Poser! Truth: I’m not a dog owner. :-) (Maybe one day, when I’m ready to be more responsible.) These fresh AM pix (with my friend’s dog 🐶) are a good mark of my general mood as we wrap the end of a decade. I’ve *started* to chew on reflections, so called “accomplishments,” and 2019 experiences to help me intuit - deep in my belly - how I want to dial things differently next year - in as much as I can control things. Nothing To Declare. 💁🏻‍♀️ I have no big life epiphanies to share and still haven’t crystallized intentions for myself, yet getting warmer in a good way. (Imagine this handwritten on a yellow lined sketch pad...) I’m especially LOVING asking people how they’re imagining the arc of their NEXT DECADE!!! I’m full of wonder. The potential *feels* great... HOW ARE YOU ENVISIONING THE NEXT 10 YEARS?!?! It’s disheartening to think of all that isn’t right in the world. In some ways, its influenced the people I’ve been lucky to do 3-legged races with in the last year or 2 to try and inch things forward together. Excited to hone in on ways I can make a bigger dent in the next few years (through my little corner). Strategy one: continue to surround myself by good people. 🙏🏽Strategy two: figure the rest out. :-) 🤷🏻‍♀️ #halfbakedthoughts Input welcome!! What I do know for sure? I’m digging cultivating a portfolio career. Feeds my roving soul. My Ask: hold up the mirror so I more actively hold up my personal doc film goals as equally and importantly as I prioritize others’ pressing initiatives and opportunities (which I do whole-heartedly love contributing to, too!). It’s the desire to honor the AND part of my creativity even more than I have. #continuousimprovement And with this snapshot with not-my-dog and nothing profound to declare, I hope by the end of 2020 I’m still cracking up about something mundane as I am here. Why? It would mean I’ve been giving my all in the best ways to others AND to my own creative endeavors, and feeling whole about my contributions as a friend, as a family member and as creative partner in crime.
