So after my involuntary vacation in Commorragh, I couldn't help but wonder why, if its not uncommon for high ranking Drukhari to keep favored humans as "pets", and the lines between sex and torture are so often blurred there, don't we ever hear or see anything about half-human/half-eldar running around? And as far as I can tell, there's only ever been one canon instance of a half-eldar child being born to a human and an unspecified (and unnamed) Eldari mercenary, Illiyan Nastase, but its from a very early edition of the lore. Later editions don't seem to make any mention of trueborn half-eldar as far as I can tell, but they do mention that vat born half-eldar were initially extremely difficult to make due to the (psychic) power of the Eldari overwhelming and terminating the fetus before it could reach full development.
