'Love alone is capable of uniting living beings in such a way as to complete and fulfil them, for it alone takes them and joins them by what is deepest in themselves... And if that is what it can achieve daily on a small scale, why should it not repeat this one day on world-wide dimensions?' ~ Pierre Teilhard De Chardin || Love is the driving force in our lives - to be loved and to love; our partners, children, family, friends and, not forgetting, ourselves. I realise I'm on a massive journey of self-love and acceptance. I've just scrolled back through my feed and noticed that I've been posting a lot of heart openers over the past few months which is a clear indication of this. Isn't it incredible how what's taking place on the subconscious level reveals itself within our asana practice? I feel so driven to clear the heart space in order to give, and to receive love, and it's working. The barriers I've built over the years are slowly breaking down and the love is beginning to filter through. The shift on the energetic level is revealed in the depth of the physical release that I've started to achieve in my backbends which stems from having trust and faith in my body to explore the asana a little deeper. Yes there are days when everything feels a little too much but there are also days when I experience a brief encounter with total freedom. Those days keep me moving forwards; driving my desire for love until one day I won't need to work so hard at it anymore. What does your practice reveal about you? Can you find a pattern within the asanas you find yourself practicing most often? 💜🌻 #haleyheals
