Here's a recent cover I made for Halcyonaire. I took this photo with a self timer on a pretty dumpy old rebel DSLR perched on the hood of our 1990 Ford Econoline on a dirt road 40 miles outside of Tucson on our way to Keylocko on tour in 2014. The release itself is a collection of two versions of two songs, each song was recorded at a different point in the band's history and at wildly different studios. Recordings from nearly a decade ago in Brandon Ertman's bedroom in Esco to super deluxe studio vibes of Different Fur and Tiny Telephone, each pretty unique in their own right. One of the reasons I chose that photo because those are the 5 dudes that made up Halc on two of the four recordings, it also has an inherent nostalgia to it that I feel the collection of songs does as well.
