I can easily think of three songs that I know who make reference to this chapter in Yashayahu/Isaiah. Two of them are songs especially known to me because of praise dance ministry. I did not always like performing the dance for this particular song. I truly believe that when it wasn't a choir-actor-dancer production, we performed to this song every other time, but that could just be my emotions 😏 ...We never discussed the significance of the lyrics. I never searched it out myself and I'm confident none of the other girls knew. We just...got up there and danced to that song.....................and it's always been a compelling song. Still, I read this chapter, and I see what mainstream lyricists choose to reference and to ignore. I see how the music industry can strip a few words from this Book, use them, yet never own up to what those words fully mean.
