I don’t know who’s still around. Back in 2012 my username here was Flyingcircusss for some veeery obvious reasons. And I did the drawing on the left with some of my favorite Monty Python moments. It was a lot for my 15 years old self and I was super proud.
Monty Python came to my life in a very tumultuous moment and it brought not only joy and sillyness, bur also a community. All the friends I had on this website, people I don’t know if are still here (and a special someone I definitely know is celebrating an eternal Christmas in Heaven), everyone I had was because of the Monty Python fandom.
This one’s an homage to Terry Jones, but also an homage to the group itself, to what they meant to me and so many people, and to this wonderful community that was here for me when I needed.
If you’re around, Python fan, it’s your time to prove that you’re not dead yet.
