   It was all so sudden. The nausea and the dizziness came out of seemingly nowhere, and Kousei counted himself lucky that he was walking from school and not to school. He found himself collapsed by a wall on the sidewalk, and his stomach heaved as a bunch of purple...stuff came up out of his mouth. It puddled on the sidewalk, and to those who were observing, they could see that his eyes glowed faintly purple.
   Kousei groaned, and held his head. The world spun around him, and he wondered if he was going to puke again. "Ugh...what...is this...?"

   Umbrella held proudly over his head, Kousei made his way down the sidewalk towards his prize for braving the rain stormâ Ice cream. The store was not too far, and like a child, he hopped happily over a puddle.
   However, he got distracted from his task when he spotted a familiar figure standing in the rain, with no umbrella at all. "Hey!" Kousei called, and waved. "What're you doing standing in the rain like that? You'll catch a cold!"

   âWhat the heck is all of this stuff?â Kousei mumbled. He glanced back at Edward, who was still out cold on the couch. âSeriously. Whatâs âear of toadâ? I didnât even know toads had ears! How am I supposed to help if I donât even know what half of this is?â

   âHey...â she mumbled, face red from exhaustion and crying. âI-I donât know if youâre a-awake or not, b-but, um...â She trailed off. What was there to say? She couldnât find words. Jay went silent, and sat down on the chair beside the bed. Bolt sat down beside her, head hanging to match his trainer. The air hung heavily around them, and Jay felt tears welling in her eyes again. I thought I was done with that!
