Fox among the stars // Starter for AM with @haemoxin
It's only been two months since she rediscovered that she wasn't Skadi Sedna, but that she was Charlotte Gates. Only a month since she had to say goodbye to her sister Sophia.
Even now after all that time she's been static, unsure where to go next in life. Her mind's a conflicting mess of directions, part of her wants to go back to studying as Sedna, the other part wants to see the stars like Sophia would.
Emily's gone on another one of her trips, looking further into where her mother might have gone. It leaves home rather empty and quite, she doesn't often listen to Emily's AI assistant as it reminds her too much of mother.
It's times like this that she thinks Sophia's more mischievous spirit gets to her. Sliding over towards the terminal, she jams the assistant from being able to see what she's up to.
"Can't sit here forever, let's see.." She pokes a little into Emily's archives, some kids are raised right but they still have a scheming side to them. "A merc code?"
She swipes it off the main terminal and boots it down, moving it to her metal arm, using Sophia's prized arm as a glove now. A little piece of her with Charlotte always.
She uses the code to dial into something, "What's this? Mercenary resource? Combat programs, augmented reality, oh hey eve pilot scores and test markings for jet fighters, spacecraft, mobile armors. That's crazy."
She slips off the chair going for a walk, maybe she can use the simulation cockpit for a bit. "Let's see, shouldn't use Mom's code... it's old anyways, probably won't care if a new one pops up huh?"
Time to hook it into Sophia's pilot chair, see what pops up.
