Yeah, but we are being super careful together because we’re not grown up enough to have babies yet and that’s a good thing! I’m not saying no to babies forever but it’s kind of nice it being just us for now. Aww, no fair! You can’t just tell me a little bit of that and not the rest of it, I gots to know! Pretty please?

I agree, it’s definitely a good thing! I have way too much I want to accomplish before I’m a mom, and I don’t want to be that person that just turns my baby over to nannies all the time because I’m busy! So let’s keep being careful -- although at least the good news is that I turned 20, so I can never be a teen mom! Yay! Okay, okay, but only because you’re so cute and I can never say no to you like, ever. He just thinks that since you’re, you know, a demi-god, that your sperm might be a little... uh, extra effective? That’s the gist of it.

I always thought it was my grandpop Zeus that made babies appear everywhere but he can probably turn into an eagle too. No matter what though, no one would get the gift of a baby if they weren’t ready, like you said! And I’m so not ready which means I’m fine, so thanks for making me even more sure. But like… what happens if one half of a couple is ready and the other isn’t? Not mine, but like in general? They wouldn’t get half of a baby, would they?

Maybe that’s where they come from? I assumed the eagles hatched them and then flew them to where they belong, but maybe your gramps leaves the eggs for them so they don’t have to pop out an egg that big on their own. You could be ready without knowing you’re ready though, mate! You’re not the universe, you don’t know all the secrets. If you’re half ready, though, I think you’d get something else. Like... a crocodile with a baby’s head on it. 

I’m not like fuddy-duddy boring serious right now but I’m not joking either! Grown ups choose to have babies and we’re not choosing to do that, at least not until we’re older. I’m sorry if that’s disappointing but I don’t know why it would be – you didn’t want to be an aunt already, did you?

Okay, but like... you know you can still make a baby without meaning to, right? Like you can choose to get rid of it if it happens, but if you’re not taking the proper precautions like... there could be one in your girlfriend right now. I so don’t want to be an aunt yet, but maybe I should meet this girlfriend of yours soon after all.
