“So ya in or not?” Rust asked Hades.

No, she really didn’t sneak over and place a reindeer headband on Hades’s head and then ran off to the corner, pretending that she really didn’t do it (though oddly enough, she had a sneaky smile on her face). And yes, she was trying to whistle a Christmas song but is absolutely failing at it through her giggles. 

‘If we feed this mess to the homeless, then they’ll all die and we’re the ones to blame,” Brittany groaned as she saw the mess (that’s what she’ll call the disastrous cooking of the supposed to be so simple fried chicken they decided to try and make). “How...I thought we’d did everything righ-what...didn’t you do?” she asked Hades, turning to him with her hands on her hips.

‘You can say that,” Brittany answered, not helping to hide the little smirk that formed on her lips. “I’m like the Queen of Trouble-sometimes trouble seems to find me everywhere I go. Just picture an innocent wee lass like myself, just walking around, not doing anything, then like a beacon, trouble to just somehow keeps find me when I don’t even do anything.”

She picked up her gift carefully, smiling before hugging Hades. “Thank you so much for my gift-I like it a lot.”

Echo had no time to hide from the oppressive sunlight, he needed to find the genetic sample for the remedy and he could not do that hiding. Taking a deep breath through the white cloth cold mask over his mouth and nose Echo stood up straight again and turned to head back out onto the street.

Hand over his belly he sighed. Breathing was painful. “I’m fine.. its not as bad as it looks.” Looks up at the other. “I’m hate to ask but.. I might need some help..”
