Hackett headcanon: Alliance Marines meme Hackett in a similar fashion to how the modern USMC memes of General Mattis.
I have no idea who he is and what he has done but when googling I find something like “was once bitten by a black mamba, the black mamba died instantly” and I can totally see Hackett memes like this in universe.
another hackett headcanon: you know those types of spy movies where the spy has a “regular” looking house but inside it's like... filled with weapons, spy stuff and a giant screen that show mission objectives? (reminds me of spy kids, aka one of the greatest movies ever made) anyway i bet hackett has what appears to be a "regular" house but if you push the wrong button you're dead

- married, has a husband! And also several catsÂ
- likes to exercise, goes for runs every morningÂ
- crochets as a hobby. Will get slightly insulted if you refer to it as knitting lolÂ
- knew more about the situation with dr. kenson than he let on, and regretted not sending Shepard in with more info (both bc of the political fallout, and bc of guilt over how Shepard took the fall for itÂ

As @omegastation shared her personal HC about Hackett’s having a trusty assistant, I could not stop thinking about it. Let me now present my HC.Â
Since Udina’s coup and the destruction of Parliament, Admiral Hackett is seen by most as the most powerful human of the time. Which means added political agenda.Â
So I HC he has an assistant for every one of his big responsibilities: Crucible, Alliance Navy and dealing with political BS policians and the Council. And these three people meet every morning to prepare his schedule for the day and gather his latest records and the pot of the strongest real coffee they can get their hands on. Last but not least, they have also perfected the secret “codes” for getting the guy out of unecessary meetings.Â
