Even if I never hear this in the game, I like to imagine Arthur, if you really get him laughing, he snorts.
Arthur snorts and wheezes and cackles
If you get him to laugh past a small huff out his nose it’s just straight up hysterics
I had a question about how you color skin! Do you have any rules of thumb when it comes to coloring it? Or a process? Like how to keep the skin looking smooth and lively while still adding all the different color variations it has? Or the blood showing through making things redder, and things away from the light or not having a lot of blood showing through seem colder? (I love your art by the way!)
Thank you for your question! I’m not the best at explaining but I hope the info I share below provides some insight!
- I begin first with finding references that I want to follow, and have those set those images in a grayscale version and the coloured version. (99% of the time I use references bc I don’t understand values and lighting from memory)
- Underneath the lineart I shade in grayscale (I personally use the eye dropper tool to blend)
- On top of the lineart I set a layer in Colour mode and add the colours (colouring it as if you started without using the grayscale method)
- Sometimes I add a layer (set to Overlay mode with around 10-25% opacity) on top of all these layers where I will add a light pink (on areas of the face that flush), light blue (on the under eyes), and white (on the iris, inner corners of eyes, high points of cheeks, and cupid’s bow)
By going from grayscale to colour, I am able to focus on the values and only stress out about that part and I won’t have to stress about colours (starting with colours first is overwhelming to me).The possible downside to this method is that you might get muddy colours which can be an advantage depending on your aesthetic. Another downside is that it doubles the time you spend on the piece.

Aww heck, thank you for reblogging that old picture I did of one of my buddy's OC's. It was probably one of the very first drawings I've posted on here, and normally people barely look at those! qwq I'm glad you like it. <3
You’re very welcome, it totally deserves way more notes! THOSE ABS!!! <3 <3 I’ve seen your art around, but I didn’t realize I wasn’t following you until recently, so of course, I started scrolling through your stuff. Love your RDR2 stuff, and your older art is really lovely as well!
Your Arthur looks like Arthur and your anatomy is absolutely phenomenal and looks better than a good deal of artists that I usually see. 😌👌
Hey hacker, im love you but this just slight ruined my morning I guess. I shoulda just ignored it... but you are right, they are just being a coward and hiding.
Hello! I really admire your art and I like to come and visit for inspiration. I was wondering if you had any advice on how you lineart. It's very nice and thin while also staying free.
Hello there! I appreciate your message a lot! I draw using a size 15 pencil-like brush. I use brushes that look like a pencil because I don’t like the way my drawings look with ink. The ones I use are the Real Pencil brush in Clip Studio Paint, and if I’m drawing on Photoshop I use the sketch brush from Holepsi’s set available on https://gumroad.com/holepsi)
I don’t think I am able to provide advice on how I draw my lineart, but I hope that the image below provides an explanation to my process. In order to stop myself from thinking “I like the sketch better than the lineart”, I started using my sketch as the lineart. I hope that this makes sense! 💛💛💛
