Okay so after staring at a wall for a few hours...

Is this the second time the water level rising/ earth sinking has happened?

Following this line of logic:

Did joyboy fight imu and lose, which lead to the first flood?

Is this why joyboy wrote the apology to the Mermaid princess? Did he tell the kuziki clan to write on a ponyglyph

Random thoughts( i sectioned them off so it's a tad more readable) :

Were devil fruits originally people who had a strong desire for their dreams( hence devil fruits are the dreams of humans- INHERENTED WILL ).

And if Imu being backwards for umi (in Japanese meaning the ocean/ sea) has any meaning to it, why does imu hate them? What did they do to imu?

Does the will of d. Relate to this? D could be just as simple Devil- I mean they directly oppose the world government, Imu and celestial dragon who would all be considered gods. And Devils I feel are associated with free will (kinda like how pirates are too)

Could this relate to the one pieces larger themes of freedom?

Does the "gum gum" fruit have a level of sentience ( seeing as was able to "out run" the government for at least 100 years- I don't remember exactly)? Why does it? Do all devil fruits have this capability or could it be because it's model type is a god

Why is sunny franky's wanted poster photo? His photo was accurate enough before, why does the world government want the boat?

Is Noah also made from one of big trees? like how sunny is made of the Adam tree

This whole reveal(earth flooding) adds another layer to why the world government would paint Roger as a villian- like if this earth sinking stuff was a part of what Roger and his crew found on laugh tale.

Then if he or someone who he was connected to( his crew, wife and child) ever said what they found there, the government would want to spread the propaganda that Roger is bullshitting and lying to everyone.

It makes sense why the government was so hellbent on killing anyone(women and children!) who could spill the beans later at the right time.

If Luffy is Uranus(or a secret 4th thing) then he has sunny(is this why the gov wants the boat??) and then maybe THE GIAINT FUCKING ROBOT is luffy's companion part

My brain only now processed the Ennie's lobby was probably the first use of the weapon imu uses from vegapunk.

Correction: the mother flame was first used on the Lulusia kingdom. Could there have been a prototype of the mother flame that made enie's lobby?(it wouldn't be the first Stella worked on a project and it didn't result exactly as he wanted- mom's devil fruit makes him a pink dragon instead of blue)
