A genuine grin spread across Cameron's face as he watched Fallon slip the jersey over her head. The oversized number nine swallowed her frame, hanging down past her hips, and when she strapped the helmet into place, she looked small, entirely out of her element, and incredibly soft. Her little warning about bruising like a peach caused a genuine laugh to escape his lips. Their relationship was still fairly new and they were still getting to know each other, but it really didn't take much to get each other laughing about something. "I'll keep that in mind. But out here, I'm the coach. And a good coach protects his star receiver." He finally stepped closer to her, then when he was close enough, Cameron reached out and took the sides of her (his) helmet, his thumbs resting just under the jawline of the plastic shell to tilt her head up slightly. "First rule, you gotta look the part. And luckily, you look cute as fuck wearing my jersey and helmet like that." With careful precision, he reached down to grab the hem of the jersey, bunching it up around her waist to tie it into a secure, cropped knot at her hip. He lingered there for a second to make sure everything looked just right on her before reaching down to grab the football in the grass, spinning it around in his hands. "Alright, rookie," Cameron teased, backward-pedaling a few yards into the grass. "Do you want to learn how to catch a football first or do you want to learn how to run a route first?"
