A couple of years ago I quit my position as art director/brand manager at @creationskateboards . Disillusioned form the skate industry as a whole I stopped investing my time n art into that scene, that to me seemed like is more about hype than the essence we had back in the day. I remained a skater though n missed having people skate on my art. That's why when Peruvian pro skater @peterchlebowski asked me to make him a graphic for the brand @gzuckcrew I accepted, regardless of my lack of time and that they paid 30% of the minimum I charge for commissions these days. Peter just asked me to do something in my style but unfortunately, after days of working this, he said this graphics wasn't his style. So it won't get used n I'm not getting paid neither. No bad vibes to them, but I wish they would of valued my time n work. Not the first time this happens, since I've also done graphics for brands like @skull_skates and @skate__mafia who neither ended up using the art nor paying me. I guess it was a reminder why I stopped investing energy into that industry where so much is disposable.
