Such a thoughtful design detail by @bradydollarhide and executed by @travisyutzy • This custom banquet could have been designed completed finished with this beautiful green upholstery, but instead Brady intentionally left certain details unfinished so that the final treatment could be designed to match the existing Millwork. Travis then milled poplar, added a profile, matched the existing stain and installed these vertical slats. A perfect complement to the existing aesthetic. For my first attempt at #shousugiban the results were good. Nothing caught fire that shouldn’t and no police were called. Also, the panels look pretty great set into these sliding steel doors from @4thstatellc - some of your best Work Isaac & company! • Panels are 5/4 x 6 Red Cedar joined with 8x50mm dominos. The panels were then torched, brushed, waxed, and installed.
