The girlfriend of a famous movie star, effectively trafficked and held hostage by him, used her mutant psionic ability to control fabric and material to become a vigilante, murdering him and his fellow Hollywood elites before becoming a hired assassin.

Sybil Dvorak first appeared in 1979 as a Romani woman born with the mutant ability to manipulate material telekinetically with her mind. Kept basically hostage by her lover and film star Jason Reed, she uses her powers to create a costumed alter ego and take out her vengeance on the Hollywood elite, often acting as a major antagonist of Spider-Woman, but crossing paths with others like Moon Knight after she became part of Night Shift.
