Wells said leg day was sacred.

Trey said leg day was negotiable.

Coach said both of them were wrong, loaded the bar, and pointed at the rack.

That was how the Golden Army gym ended up with Wells and Trey shirtless, sweating, shining, and locked into the kind of squat session that made the mirrors fog up out of self-defence. Gold-and-black shorts. Black-and-gold trainers. Heavy plates. Low reps. High standards.

Wells went first, dropping deep with the bar across his shoulders, legs driving, jaw tight, grin somehow still present because Wells believed suffering counted as branding if you looked good enough doing it.

Trey watched him from the next rack, arms flexed, blond hair streaked blue, expression sharp.

“Lower,” Trey said.

Wells paused at the bottom.

Coach’s whistle stopped swinging.

Alton, watching from somewhere too safe, whispered, “Bold choice.”

Wells stood, racked the bar, and turned.

“Your turn.”

Trey smiled like he had been waiting for that.

He stepped under the bar, settled it across his shoulders, and dropped low enough that even Coach gave one slow approving nod. Wells stood beside him, arms folded, pretending to assess form while absolutely enjoying the view.

“Standards,” Wells said, “are important.”

Trey pushed up through the rep, sweat running down his chest. “Then try keeping up.”

After that, it stopped being a workout and became a public warning.

Rep for rep.

Set for set.

Low squat after low squat.

Neither of them backed down. Neither of them admitted fatigue. Both of them used the mirror like a tactical weapon.

By the end, the plates were stacked, the floor was slick, and the Golden Army gym looked like it had survived a golden thunderstorm. Wells and Trey stood back-to-back at the rack, legs shaking, shoulders gleaming, both pretending they were not completely destroyed.

Coach looked them over.

“Lesson?”

Wells breathed hard. “Keep your squats low.”

Trey smirked. “And your standards high.”

Coach nodded once.

“Acceptable.”

And that was how the rule entered Golden Army doctrine: go deep, stand strong, and never let a bro with better quads set the standard alone.

Giggle 🤭🤭🤭 …I don’t think we previously saw that much of a difference cause First likes to act like a Babygirl around his bestie heheeh. Plus, he usually makes himself compact around Khaotung 😂…also, the boys are just chameleon when they are on screen. It’s amazing to watch this giant boy going head to head with a rich brat (Ray) or school boy with a hidden agenda (Aye - and I can guarantee you Khaotung was not wearing heels in that series) - I think part of it is also because Khaotung’s on screen personalities are so much larger than his shorter stature (I say this like this man is not 20cm taller than me 🙂‍↕️)
