When Mr. Block, our H.H.I.C., realized his bright orange handbrake pipe just wasn't flashy enough for the cockpit of his Ford Fiesta HFHV, we were tasked to make it more awesome. The result? A five-axis CNC milled hunk of 6061 aluminum that slides over the existing handbrake lever. Now you might ask, why create a sleeve, instead of just milling an entirely new handle? Well that orange pipe is actually more than just a lever that actuates the handbrake's master cylinder, it also serves as the reservoir for the hydraulic fluid, hence why the top of the sleeve screws off. Additionally, there are multiple levers for this car, allowing Block to change the postion of the handle depending on what suits him best. Inspired by classic MX and BMX handlebar grips we created a repeat 43 pattern to provide the base for the grip and then cut the [HOONIGAN] logo all the way through the handle so it would expose the orange pipe underneath. To literally top it off we added the Huck Block Skull logo to the removable filler cap. All in all we did our best to make it not look like a dildo.
