Meet PlaceRebuilder, Gyazo Explore winner and creator of Reason 2 Die in Roblox
Today we have an interview with Andreas AKA PlaceRebuilder, an independent game developer working on Reason 2 Die, a popular game made with Roblox. He recently won our grand prize by sharing Gyazo game captures that got the most reactions within one month.
Sharing game moments with Gyazo takes seconds, not minutes, and it can increase your followers plus keep them engaged. See what’s happening in Roblox, League of Legends, and Fortnite on Gyazo Explore.
And now, on with the interview.
Got some choice moment from Russianbadger’s latest video and made memes of them. Just so I can use them in the future.
“I did not ask for your opinion.”
Introducing Gyazo Replay: Capture the Last 30 Seconds In-Game and Share Instantly
Interesting things happen all the time in games but by the time you think about sharing a short moment it's already gone by.
Now with Gyazo Replay you can capture and share the last 30 seconds of on-screen action seamlessly so you’ll never have to miss the moment again.
It’s crazy fast: hit the hotkeys (Ctrl+Shift+F by default) and the replay uploads, the link is copied, and you're ready to share or just keep playing.
Gyazo Replay is available now with Gyazo Pro
If you've already got Pro, your app should have auto-updated and a new shortcut created already. If you don't see it yet you can download the new version here.
Grab replays without interrupting play
Gyazo Replay cuts out all the extra steps. No game-blocking overlays, no tedious file management, no complex processes, and no expensive hardware.
Replays are ready-to-share 30 second .mp4 clips in 1080p HD at good framerate so you can see every detail.
How does Replay capturing work?
Launch Gyazo Replay and you'll be ready to capture the last 30 seconds at any time. When you press the hotkeys it will capture and start uploading then copy the link when done, playing a sound to confirm success.
Replay is optimized to use a modest amount of CPU and ram so on most modern computers you can still play games just as smoothly while it's running. To be ready to capture, always launch the app before you start playing your games or using your apps. You can also customize your hotkeys and turn confirmation sounds on or off in Gyazo settings.

Grab every good game moment
Save your beauty of a highlight play You just got a vicious monster kill and naturally you want to show it off. After the heat dies down hit the hotkeys to capture and then keep playing. Later on you can review the clip and share the page or video link. With full HD clips even super detailed gameplay can be seen clearly.
Find out where it all went wrong Sometimes you can’t understand what happened because it just happened so fast. By grabbing a quick replay you can go back and see exactly how that tough enemy got you, and you can improve next time. Gyazo Replays have good framerate so you can see even lightning-fast action.
Promote your stream while you play Maybe you're growing your twitch following but people on twitter and discord don't get that excited just from seeing your channel link. Use Replay to capture while you play, then share out a replay together with your link while you're waiting to respawn or between matches. By sharing high quality clips more frequently you'll get more followers and subscribers in no time.
So, TLDR;
Next time you go fighting, creating, or exploring launch Gyazo Replay first. When something cool happens, hit the hotkeys to capture and go right back to enjoying your game.
Gyazo Replay is available now for Gyazo Pro subscribers on Windows only. A version for all Gyazo Lite users is planned for the near future.

How we reduce the size of long GIFs to embed everywhere easily
This 7 second Gyazo GIF is 8.2mb with little image compression and a high frame rate. from YouTube
As we recently announced, with a Pro account, you can capture long GIFS up to 60 seconds. However, GIFs that long and with a high framerate are probably too slow or can’t load at >10mb.
Initially we created a ‘preview GIF’ with mp4 for a higher quality option but many users sent reports about the merits of a longer GIF, so we went to work on the compression and frame rate. Instead of a fixed, lower frame rate for longer GIFs we have a new approach that adjusts the level of compression required to make your GIF load smoothly.
Change to image history for free users on March 1st: no more one month limit, 10 images forever + Sneak peek
This year we are releasing lots of updates and pushing to improve Gyazo in every area. To support continued development we are introducing a small change to the Gyazo homepage for free accounts. Starting March 1st, free accounts will have homepage access to the 10 most recent images, with no time limit.
Previously, no images could be accessed after one month, except to delete. Note: you can still upload unlimited images and all images remain accessible by anyone with the link.
Getting a lot out of the homepage? This is a great time to upgrade If you use the service every day for free and have lots of captures, this change may affect how you use the homepage. We hope you will consider upgrading to Gyazo Pro to unlock the full featured homepage if you’ve enjoyed saving time and sharing with us so far. Keep access to key images If you use Gyazo a few times a month or week, then this change could be a benefit as you will be able to have quick access to 10 images without a one month time limit. Image page design update As an example of the updates we have in store, a new and improved image page is coming soon. We’ve been trying it out and so far it seems to be noticeably better. It is the most common page seen on Gyazo and we’re putting the finishing touches on it now. Here is a sneak peek:
Please let us know your comments, feedback, and if you have any questions.
