Something was wrong with this apparition.
... Ah, was it even an apparition at all?
Ghosts and lingering resentments, small monsters invisible to most- Towa was used to snuffing them out.
... But something was so different about this one.
The light was strangely comforting.
The light was not cowering from her, nor was it trying to destroy her. The light stared back at her as she stared at it, and she could almost wear it smiled at her.
Something was welling inside.
The light had no desire to fight.
Towa knew this was wrong. This thing, whatever it may be, was calling to a part of her soul she tried to ignore, even repress. That she was a worthless failure- a burden to a family that had adopted her after she ruined everything in her own old home by letting go of her sister's hand, that everything was her fault: and looking in the light made her feel like she shouldn't care about that.
The light wanted to destroy.
Towa knew that and knew it was dangerous and needed to be destroyed but she couldn't help it. She was worthless, she shouldn't be alive, and the light wanted to destroy and there was a part of her heart that wanted to destroy it wanted greater fights these delinquents were worthless even more worthless than her the humans were defying their destiny resisting destruction so they were all useless too why not hold the light why not embrace it and help the light if the light was like her then she would not be alone if she helped the light accomplish it's goals it could help her accomplish her own wasn't it to find her sister what was her name Towa couldn't remember for a moment helpthelightanditwillhelpherenditendeverythinginthisworldandeverywhereelsethelightcanguidethewayaslongasshehelpeditfighttheSupremeKingwhatwasthatdoesntmatteritcouldhelpherforgeteverythingforgetSetsuna
She jumped backwards, the familiar name helping break her from her trance- although she could only stare at the Light of Destruction in horror, not sure what to do next.
