He hissed a bit beneath his breath, entering in their room as quietly as possible before stumbling onto his face as gracefully as he could, but to no avail. The silver haired gunman growled at the injuries he sustained "Yo, Sup. Still down to fuck Eme?"
When the door creaked open, Emerald didn’t move from where she sat. Already in her shirt and shorts for the night, she was curled up on her bed, reading a short novel that was for the class next morning. When she heard the clutter of footsteps, the big and heavy clomps, she knew it was her partner coming back from god knows what adventure. When she heard the giant THUD of him falling down, all she would do is quirk a brow as she flipped a page and looked up from her studies.
“Graceful. Like a gazelle.” She sarcastically spat out at her partner before looking back to her book. “Did you get yourself drunk again? Thank god we wouldn’t have a car, otherwise I’d see your face in the morning’s obituaries.” A small sigh came from her as she shook her head.
“You didn’t do anything reckless while you were out, did you?” It was a pointless question, for if you looked up “reckless” in the dictionary, lo and behold one would find Mercury’s face as the definition, but she figured no harm in asking the obvious.
