    “I am not some air-breather you can control,” he says sharply. “I am of royal Atlantean blood.”

“You’re not my Other. You’re not Venom.” Now, that was the understatement of the century, but he did hope it proved a point. “Not -” a hiss, “you’re not allowed in!”

| 10 | He had heard of the creatures through the grapevine, sometimes listening to the aliens murmuring in Undertown led to grand discovery’s, and the knowledge of a sentient and POWERFUL alien was a welcomed one.

It hadn’t been easy talking anyone into getting him a sample either, he had to shell out a pretty penny, but it was fine, should he scan it into the watch he’d be able to take on maybe even prime himself.

The ones who sold it to him had warned him about its...quirks but was he scared? of course not. 

He took the container and cracked it open once he got ‘home’ “Don’t touch it they said...jeez, aren’t they scared over a little bit of goo.”scoffing before putting his hand in, and let it grab hold, sliding over the watch as it glows a decent yellow.

“He abandoned me. Just like everyone does. Just like everyone has. He deserves his fate... so does Venom.”

        “Oh, I wouldn’t say that! I am actually right and proper! You can simply call me the Batman Who Laughs! My true name is meaningless here -- I am sure you can appreciate that, can’t you?”

When the blood drowned the waters, he’d have to do something, but as to what? He wasn’t sure. He wanted - no, he needed Arthur’s guidance. Perhaps his half-brother could do something that Orm couldn’t, but as to what? He truthfully wasn’t sure. 

“I will protect my people,” he finally growls out. “The ocean is vast, it is deep -- we will survive. We will adapt.” Even if there was doubt it would actually work and yet... he knew what he had to do.

“By any means necessary,” a pause, “even if that means taking the surface by force before the blood destroys what we have left.”
