After the Christmas Exchange was done, I was contacted to pitch-hit by the person that was running it before the current mod. I got the first snow 1x2x3 prompt and was told to take as much time needed. I had no idea for who it was for. Before the Valentine’s Day exchange was concluded, the past mod contacted me to ask about it and I told them I would try to have it finished before or during the VD weekend, and I assumed that they were keeping contact with the recipient.

I was contacted by @claraxbarton today and only today did I found out who the recipient was or how upset they actually were and I have absolutely no words to say how sorry I am and ashamed that it took this long to get anything truly moving. I am extremely sorry and I probably screwed over a lot by taking so long of given the worst impression of the fandom. Please do not let my mistakes be a reflection on the community. I’ll have the gift done and submitted through the Exchange blog by tonight at some point.

Gundam Wing Valentine's Day Fan Exchange (1x3, mild shounen ai humour)

[Updated July 2016 with another outtake. The Pikachu pic was one of my original GW Valentine’s Fanfic Exchange outtakes back in February, but I scrapped it thinking that Pokemon weren’t as popular these days, and hence the joke wouldn’t be as funny. What a difference 5 months make…  ~(˘▾˘~)  ]

And lo, Valentine's Day arrived, and the Gundam Wing Fan Exchange sprang to er, life. I do know that it's a varied fan community and GW has had its share of bad press. Still, the fandom has ever only been kind to me; I'm happy it continues to be active.

So, my latest contribution to it.

Frankly, I'm inhibited when it comes to romantic stuff (of any category; shounen ai, yuri, vanilla, fics, pics, dj). But when I do have a good excuse, either as a gift or as part of a challenge, I enjoy pushing myself into the decadent realms of hugging or grasping of forearms. Yes, and looks. Somewhat soggy remnants of a smoulder, mayhap ;)
