It's actually a bit better than Van Helsing.
Guy Wilson
I’m dead.
Scene I desperately want to see
Sonny - Will, you have to remember! Look, look at this picture. That is us, on our wedding day!
Will - That doesn’t even look like me!

what??
WHAT??
I'm going to sound bitter, but the writers have always wanted to bring back Chandler as Will, didn't they? Wonder how Guy must feel about this, wonder how Will will be written now. My poor Paul/Sonny ship will probably suffer...
Well, I think it’s fair to say that Chandler is considered the de facto Will. Besides being “first” and hugely popular with the fans, he won all those Emmys for his portrayal and-- with the exception of the wedding-- he got all of the “big” Will moments. I was begging for Chandler to come back, too, once upon a time lol.
Will was always going to come back. I just wish I had longer before it had to happen. My only hope was that Chandler would be too busy learning Mandarin Chinese or too bitter about his treatment at the end of his last tenure to return any time soon. Sigh.
I sincerely hope Guy Wilson is too busy living his best life somewhere to pay any attention to what’s going on at Days now. I wish him all the best. But-- despite whatever bad blood, if any, lies between Chandler and Ken Corday over his early release back in the day-- I suspect that Chandler always had the option of reclaiming the role. Chandler was hugely popular in the role, and Guy was controversial. The writing/storylines did him no favors, but I could never honestly say that his acting felt on the same level as Chandler, and a lot of people felt the same and said it in louder and less kind ways than I just did lol.
