Define a bit gay. A lot of people get that feeling because of things he’s said in the past. My opinion on this is that if he’d truly been gay he would’ve never outed himself that easily (saying he likes guys at a concert). I’ve said this a lot but Sehun is extremely traditional imo. Apart from that, I see a lot of people applying the western stereotype to a lot of non-western societies?? Remember what jay park said about Koreans when he first came to Korea after living in America his entire life? Commenting on myspace that the guys are all gay because they hold hands? Korean culture is a bit different and guys are extremely comfortable with their masculinity in this regard - acting more feminine. Especially kpop idols. Personally, I was very tempted to say that heechul was gay and here he is having a girlfriend.
Apart from that, Sehun is a Christian boy and was born in ‘94 so he grew up in a very traditional skorea. Things have changed in the country lately, but he grew up with a different mindset and even if he were gay... I doubt he’d know it himself?? Some people take forever to realize that they’re gay so even if he is... he’s currently still dating girls. Sure, he might as well be bi... but I truly think he’s never had any sexual experiences with another man... so far. Who knows in the future??
Also, nothing to do with you personally but I’m so sick of the twitter fandom making fun of anyone who dares to stan Sehun or sexually fantasize about him bc “how can you hes obviously gay?? Girlie open your eyes he said he likes men”. The fuck that was just a playful comment that showed yet again how thoughtful he is of everyone around him.
Being gay and having to hide it (bc that’s what he’d have to do considering his status and the country of origin) would’ve meant an extremely masculine sehun who avoided any type of feminization (high pitched voice, acting cute, being clingy with his hyungs, etc). But no, we have cutesy happy go lucky Sehun most of the time and I think that goes to show just how... not gay he is.
