A dude and his young (10??) daughter came in today, they're regulars and I love them. The girl came running up to me and shouts "LOOK, I FYED MY HAIR TO MATCH YOURS!" and showed me that she had blue tips on her hair. She had coloured it in with markers so she could have blue hair like me 😂 she's so fuckin precious

Today while serving i looked out the window and saw a tiny doggo in a customers car and said it was cute. The guy whos dog is was was next ij my line and he told me he was a pom crossed with papillon and his name was Peanut. Then when he went out to his car he took Peanut out of the car and brought him to the window so i could fuckin see him! Blessed. Absolutely blessed. I love you Peanut

A customer and her partner came through my line and I was just being myself, chatting away while scanning and bagging and the lady goes "how do you pronounce your name?" and im thinking oh shit what did i do wrong so I tell her its just dani, short for danielle, and she starts going on about "excellent customer service dani, youre so fast and efficient and polite etc" and I'm literally almost crying cause I really needed some positivity and they were so nice and it made my entire year so far.

Got bored and looked up google reviews formy store and the third or fourth review is a five star and mentions me specifically by name. Showed my manager and she told me shes really proud of me. Today was a really good day

New Zealand is in a totsl level 4 lockdown for four weeks or longer as of tonight (wed. March 25th.) Im still able to work as my workplace is considered essential like many other retailers that stock essentials like food and stuff. Just wanna shout out to everyone else working during this pandemic, thank you ❤️❤️

So this old dude who regularly makes unwanted comments towards us girls at work has been warned not to anymore or he won't be welcome back. Today he asked me if I had a boyfriend, told me babies are a disease, and then upon finding out I have a girlfriend (told him to make him go away) he asked what happens when a group of lesbians goes out together, is it a hook up or just a good time type thing. Ugh. My boss said he's not welcome back. Good luck with your lifetime ban, bruh.

This is a yay customer ❤️ Was serving an elderly gentleman today and this lady comes up and tells me to put his groceries on her card. She pays, he tries to give me his cash, I tell him it's already paid for and hand him his receipt and she's off before he could even thank her. She said she just wanted to do a nice thing today and honestly I love her 😂 This old guy was so shocked and grateful and he didn't even get to thank her. Wholesome, dude.
