                 She observes as his head turns towards her, a little squint on his face.  Though his hat shields him from the humidity, it doesn’t shield his features from his position upon his horse.  Handsome, no doubt;  hand-crafted by the Devil.  Lips have formed a lofty smirk, narrow eyes alight with amusement, and it takes but a moment for him to unhook his leg from over his saddle and drop to the ground in front of her.  Even when not on horseback, he’s a good deal taller than her.

                 In that moment, Jackie genuinely can’t tell if she’s amused or offended him.  Gunner Lawson.  She’s heard his name before, ever the topic whenever something bad has happened around town, but she’s never seen him before until now--  or, not in person anyway.  He was often the subject of newspaper headlines.  He’s always out doing God-knows-what in other districts, returning only to cause trouble before making his way off once more.  Though she harbours a deep resentment for the frustration he’s caused their peaceful community, she can’t help but find him interesting.  He’s a little like Jon Valor, though for all the wrong reasons;  he ventures out because he doesn’t like a law telling him that he can’t, not because he has a genuine thirst for exploring.

                                                                                                     ❛❛ Hard t’please, huh? ❜❜                                                                             ❛❛ Not at all.  Just takes a little effort. ❜❜

                 The sun is beginning to rise, and it sets his figure alight.  In that moment, she can see everything.  Despite his muted silhouette, she knows that he reeks of charm and mysticism for a reason.  As much as she doesn’t want to admit it, she’s entranced.  In this dim light, he looks somewhat like an angel, heaven-sent and pure, but she knows in her heart that his soul is battered and bruised, tainted black with hatred and malice.  He’s dangerous, yet she doesn’t feel the urge to turn around and run.

                 The smile he gives her oozes confidence;  the sleazy kind that makes most women sick.  It just excites her.

so remember gunner? well, he is the middle child of three boys!

SO, as stated in his drabble... blurb... thing... his parents are ~flower enthusiasts as well as assholes! so they name all three of their boys after flowers. hence the terrible, terrible names. unless you decide that your brother wants to have a nickname, i have no..... permanent nicknames set up.
