I just learned the show is called Pantertanter in Danish which means CougarAunties and I don’t know what to do with that information because Panter (cougar) isn’t a word we use for women who date younger men so I don’t even think it’s a joke about that.
I think the joke is more about them being cool for their age and having “bite” so they might as well have called it TigerAunties (Tigertanter) which would have worked in Danish too.
Unless it’s one of those hidden jokes that you’re only supposed to get if you understand English like The GummiBears. In Danish they’re called BubbiBjørnene and yes it’s pronounced like boobie so the intro song goes “Boobie Bears! Jumping up and down and everywhere!”
Anyway…What was I talking about…?
