Hi hi just another question, I'm currently just learning how to finger pluck but for some reason the string sound is muffled, buzzing a whole lot or making no noise. If you could tell me why or gimme some tips that would be great!
Playing the G chord btw only happens when I play a chord
Tried to tune my guitar for the first time the other day. I got three strings in tune before I was rudely interrupted by the Bridge rapidly becoming less than attached from the guitar.
I can't even just re-attach it because it's bent. Why's this have to happen as SOON as I get the desire to actually use the thing?
I had a dream that I was complaining to Miles Kane about struggling to play any barre chords on the guitar because my fingers are too short and stubby. He said it didn’t make any difference but I insisted he was wrong 🤷🏻♀️ so he said “show me your hands then” and he did that thing where you put your hands palm to palm to compare finger size. And obviously his hands and fingers were much bigger and longer than mine. Dream me was not okay with this development 😵💫 but he conceded I was right, my hands were quite small. To which I pointed out he just had “massive hands”.
He didn’t really have a response to that but overall, 10/10 would dream again!
Miles Kane does have long fingers, anonymous. unfair guitar advantage right there.
thank you for sharing, hope he shows up in a dream again sometime and gives you useful guitar tips (or at least sympathy).
keep dreaming,

That feeling when
You played too much guitar and now your fingertips feel like your tounge does after eating too many salt and vinegar chips
Guitar help pls?
So this isn't about the distortion thing, I found out it's because of the kind of guitar I have, my question is about playing it.
I'm having a hard time sliding up and down the frets smoothly while keeping the neck balanced. I use my thumb to brace the back of the neck while my fingers try to work some magic, and it works when I don't need to slide farther down than my wrist can twist, ie from the fourth fret to the sixth or seventh. It's fucking up my timing a little and I have yet to figure out an easier way to move my hand without the neck leaning forward too far.
Any tips or advice?
