they’ve known each other since high school and quickly became close friends. kevin was smart, kevin had the highest level of tolerance for ishua, the king family, and the christian faith. he admired their values. it was why he turned to ish when trying to overcome a drug and substance abuse problem. ish didn’t offer much more than prayer, which disappointed kev greatly. turning his back on his close friend caused a strain in their relationship, and though getting help from another source, kevin never really overcame his problem. it was a decision that ishua could never really live with himself for, and he prays for kevin daily.
