those kinds of days are always necessary and i'm glad you had a chance to breathe a little. if you don't mind, what lost your interest? i almost discovery of witches while I was out a couple days ago, but i've heard from a couple people that they lost interest
It starts off being a little excessive but then just gets...kind of ridiculous and Twilight-y. And nothing happens for a while, but the prose isn’t strong or introspective enough to support that level of inaction. It’s also kind of bad/weird writing from the get-go, which would be fine if it were 300 pages, but this sucker is about 600, so there’s a tolerance level that gets hit around 400 when you think, “Omg this book is still going.” But now I’m 75 pages away from the end, and I didn’t read 500 pages just to quit before the finish line.
