They would have adopted and it’s glorious.

Name: Ciana Warde.

Gender: Female.

General Appearance: As Ciana is a Xaela; she bears horns and scales of black. She has red skin along with hair of pink. Her eyes were yellow prior to being blinded. One socket is without an eye.

Personality: Like both parents, she is endlessly joyful and optimistic however, she has a trait both parents do not have. She is merciless. She does not believe in the best of people. She assumes the worse, all the time.

Special Talents: Like Zelenia, she takes joy in weaving fabric together to create clothes. She is quite talented at it. Like daughter, like mother. She follows her mothers on their path of healing and she is exceptional at it.

Who they like better:  Zelenia. Zelenia is the good cop. She serves as the barrier betwixt Ciana and Minfilia, often, when they fight for opinions differ. Minfilia is the bad cop. Minfilia is far stricter, as she observed unsavory traits far earlier on. MInfilia hoped to guide their daughter on a better path; one without destruction.

Who they take after more: Minfilia. Like Minfilia, she is awfully good at twisting words and throwing them like daggers in the way diplomats can in the games of deception and lies. Unlike Minfilia, however, she is not kind about it. She enjoys twisting the knife in and seeing how people change when the truth, sheer truth is spoken.

Personal headcanon:  She went blind after an incident where she was the healer. She played the martyr and told her comrades to run. She was tortured by the foe for the sole reason of being Zelenia’s and Minfilia’s daughter. They took her eyes; one of them, quite literally. She did not beg for mercy and for that reason alone, she was brutalized further.

As a child, she always saw him as regal / for hewas Atlas. Such was the burdens weighing broad shoulders down.

She understands now. The world sings and sings into her ears / Hydaelynsings. The world, bittersweet and sundered / her shoulders break underneath itsheaviness. Her fingers dig into the dirt of the dry land of no hope; Ala Mhigo.She is at home. It is a bittersweet triumph, thrumming in veins.

Minfilia isdrawn from her waking dreams, eyes flying open as she swallows naught at all. Zelenia’ssaccharine talk of (springtime) tenderness, turns her head. She cannot speak/ the words she wishes to let free are stuck betwixt the cage of her teeth andflesh. She finds shame blooms on her skin, in its dreaded crimson.

She wantsto stay.

But shewishes to flee, too.
