St. Mungos couldn’t help him. They would take one look at his arm and call the aurors on him. Theo would be sitting in a cell in Azkaban before he would even see a drop of dittany. But his arm burned and his vision was hazy and Theo wished that they would have just filled him in the drawing room. The Dark Lord probably thought that marking him was mercy but no, this felt like death in the worst way.

Troilus Vacth wasn’t like the others. When he helped Theo off the floor, as his father and the Dark Lord had left him a sweating and sobbing mess on the floor, he had whispered an address in his ear before leaving him. Theo had repeated that address in his head as he was taken home, murmured it under his breath between spells that he launched at the back of his father’s head.

Apparition was easy to botch, Theo was surprised he didn’t splinch himself trying, he couldn’t even think clearly. He was pretty sure that he was in Muggle London...why was he in Muggle London? He was repeating the address louder to himself now, his vision spotty and his breathing labored as he found the flat he had been told to find.
