Got valentine's day fish from LiveAquaria and the 1/2 of them that weren't DOA are in my QT tank (ich spots galore). Still can't believe they shipped me CORYDORA FRY. They should know better. For shame. Out of the 6 I ordered, I'm down to TWO after 24 hours (3 were DOA and 1 didn't make it through acclimation), and they're not looking great. Obviously, due to being scaleless, I can't have them in my medicated tank with these dudes, so they're in the warmer & salted tank with the kuhlis I also got (ordered 6, and 1 was DOA and they've got SEVERE ammonia burn which is a lot worse than you'd think they'd get from like 14 hours in a bag considering their bioload)- with a sponge filter cos a HOB or any sort of intake would simply suck em up. They also sent me 3 male gouramis despite my ordering 2 females and 1 male (breeding trio).
Filed claims with LiveAquaria and still waiting to hear back about how much "store credit" I'll be able to get. First and last time I'll be ordering live fish from them, I think.
Also, just FYI, these dudes are going into a heavily planted 30-gallon for 2-5 months before ultimately going into a 55, so don't @ me about my husbandry cos they're not *staying* in the 9g flex.
