When you're at the mall, tired of walking around and has nothing else to do, you often think of going to the cinemas. Sometimes you just want to passby to see what they are currently playing on the big screen or what they'll be playing next, but then you end up buying a ticket for yourself to watch one movie. Who doesn't love watching a movie anyway? In the philippines, movie ticket ranges from Php 200.00 to Php 400.00 depending on the screen types and your location. In Guam, we have 5 movie theaters where you can enjoy your favorite movies. So, here are the list: Agana Center Stadium Theaters is located on the 2nd floor of Agana Shopping Center in Hagatna. They don't usually show all the major movies released for they only have 5 screens, but they do show the major ones. Admission is $6.50 (child/sr), $10.00 (gen) & $8.50 (mil) Base Theater located in Yigo and Big screen Theatre, located in Haputo road Santa rita, are only open to all with base access. Big screen Theater shows two movies on Fridays, and three movies on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission for regular release per Adult is $6.00, $3.50 (child - 4 yrs & younger are free). For 3D movies, admission is $8.00 for adult & $5.50 child. For 1st run movies, admission is $8.00 (adult) & $5.25 (child) & for 3D first runs, $10.00 (adult) & $7.25 (child). Micronesia Mall Theaters in Dededo has 12 screens & presents the finest in feature films all year round. Admission is $6.50 (child/sr), $8.00 to $10.00 (gen) & $8.50 (mil). Both ACST & MMT are managed by Tango Theater. Regal Guam Megaplex 14 is located at 235 Pass st.,Tamuning. Admission is $10.20 adult, $6.70 child & $6.95 seniors. Before, there was also an Outdoor Drive-In theater here in Guam. It was located on Ypao Rd before, held 400 cars and was operating from at least the late-1950’s. Some says it may have closed in 1974 when it was blown over by Typhoon Pamela. There are many things to do and see here in guam, so why not come and visit?
