I think it's interesting that Gu-cheon receives his Gwi swords through tree branches (peach tree, jujube tree) while Saeng-gang is named after the ginger tree (blunt-lobed spicebush) the King likes. One could say that she has been destined to be his hidden weapon in this fight for survival.
I can only imagine that, when Saeng-gang cried out for Gu-cheon at the river, the reason he managed to escape the World of Gwi was because he could not risk Saeng-gang entering it again to save him. He could not witness her almost die on him a third time.

I still wonder about the lore behind entering the World of Gwi. Gu-cheon is tied to bodies of water and the World of Gwi since his childhood. These places and he have more yin than yang energy. It makes sense that he would enter the World of Gwi by drowning himself.
But can anyone enter it as he does or can Saeng-gang only follow because her grandmother's family is tied to the World of Gwi through spirit hearing? Is it because they both have an abundance of energy (even if opposing ones)? Or was Saeng-gang just crazy enough to try...
I'm curious about everyone's theories or headcanons.
