This month on the Guild's art exchange, we have a theme going! It's lyrics! If you'd like to join in on the art exchange, please sign up at the Guild's forum: Here but you'll need to make an account first! Rules to the art exchange are pretty simple and as follows: To join, simply post with the description of your character. The last day to enter will be Sept 1st and you will have till Sept 30th to turn in your piece. This month is a theme month! This month's theme is lyrics! In addition to your desc, please include a portion of lyrics from your favorite song for your artist to incorporate into their piece! For quick run down of the rules, 1. All forum rules apply (obviously), thus, artwork should stay within PG-13 ratings. If you have any questions, feel free to message me through the forum or through any various messaging services. ...or hunt me down in the chat. 2. You must complete your piece/exchange by the end of the month. This does not mean to rush through it. Put effort into your piece as you are likely to receive a piece that has also had effort and thought put into it. Your finished piece must be posted on this thread by the due date in either an img tag and/or linked to. 3. The character must be of your own creating and ANY species is allowed. 4. Be respectful. Not everyone is of the same skill level, but the fact remains that they are spending time and putting effort into what they make. 5. Please no critiquing unless specifically requested by the artist. 6. In order for someone to make your character, they really need a detailed description. Please give as much detail of your character as possible (and reference pieces if you have them.) 7. If you post your work elsewhere, make sure you credit the character to the owner! 8. Have fun. We're the guild. We're crazy, zany, and various other words of the like. We're here to have fun (and maybe create a little chaos). So have fun with your piece! 9. You're welcome to do your piece in any media you would like. HOWEVER, make sure you can complete it in a month's time. 10. Not necessarily a rule, but if you post your work on an art community, please link back to the guild. Example: Stormphyre is a member of the Gryphon Guild (Gryphon's Guild). 11. If you fail to finish your piece during the month, then in order to get off the Blacklist, you must finish your piece for your chosen one of the month you didn't finish as well as do a "community service" piece for someone who did not get one.
