I literally just turned on transaction notifications on my credit card, then got notified of an odd charge on my credit card and called Chase to dispute it, but instead of disputing it, that mfer just cancelled that entire card and is going to send me a new one with a new number. I could barely understand what he was saying (they obviously outsource their call center to India), and I was SO frustrated because he wanted to sit there and argue with me that it was just my Prime membership fee (despite me telling him at least 5x that I already paid that a week ago and I've never once been charged a random $1.01 membership fee on this card before, and I've had it for like 5 years now - there was no notice of changes to fees, no orders in my Amazon account, I have no subscriptions through them, and have no reason to believe the charge is legit), I didn't even get the chance to tell him I just wanted to dispute that charge before he cancelled the card. Grr.
