Whoa, I got tagged for one of these things! Thank you possess-this for the tag :3 I've never gotten to do one of these before either.

Rule 1 - Post the rules. Rule 2 - Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post and then make 11 new ones. Rule 3 - Tag 11 people and link them to your post. Rule 4 - Let them know you’ve tagged them.

1) If you could speak any other language fluently what would it be?

If I was still in high school, I would have said Russian. The language is gorgeous and a lot of my classmates were of Russian or similar descent so being able to communicate with them better would have been nice. Now that I'm in college, though... I think I'd have to say Latin or Greek. Both would be just for funsies, pretty much. They are both bases for much of the English language and while I'm familiar with the common bases, prefixes and suffixes I'm not at all familiar with anything else. 

2) If you could inhabit any of the 9 planets which one would you choose, and why? (Yes I am including Pluto)

I think I would choose Saturn because it's pretty, and because the myths involving Saturn/Cronus are important to Roman and Greek mythology. In Greek mythology, Cronus became the ruler of the cosmos after being overthrown by Zeus and his siblings, and the mythologies of Cronus and Saturn are linked closely. So I think it would be pretty cool to live on/near the namesake of such an important deity, even if he wasn't the ruler of the gods anymore. 

3) What fandom has made the biggest impact on your life, good or bad, and why?

Doctor Who, hands down. There have been a few insta-friend moments when finding out people I meet watch Doctor Who. Hell, one of my favorite people now only became my favorite because I was telling a friend about DW during a lab and he overheard our conversation. I've found some good friends, my relationship with my boyfriend became even more enjoyable because we fangirl over DW things, and most importantly I've found something that I belong to, finally.

4) If you could have named yourself, what would you have chosen and why?

I don't know, actually. I like my name and I think it suits me well enough. 

5) Does the paranormal intrigue you? What are your views on it?

Oh yes. I think most paranormal events are really human imagination or psychological disorders, but there are times that nothing can be explained except by the paranormal. Rare, yes. But they do happen. I'm more interested in ghosts and possessions, but my boyfriend is really into cryptozoology and my friend knows quite a bit about demons and the like. We'd make a pretty well-rounded paranormal investigation team if we so chose :3

6) If you could ride anything into battle what would it be?

A moose. Definitely a moose. They are huge, mean and have horns for goring. I think they would be an excellent battle-mount. They aren't so big that I wouldn't be able to reach to fight myself, but big enough that they are intimidating. I think a moose would be like a warhorse with horns.

7) If your first celebrity crush and your currant celebrity crush were in a dual, who would win, and why?

Um. Orlando Bloom versus... uh. John Barrowman? Benedict Cumberbatch? David Tennant? I can't choose just one! I think John would beat Orly on pure fabulousness alone though. 

8) Would you prefer endless cloudy days or endless sunny days?

I'll take endless sunny days. We've had nothing but clouds and rain since like... September. I'm ready for nice weather again! 

9) What is your favorite quote from your favorite movie?

I don't really have a favorite movie, but my favorite line of my many favorites is from Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (aside from the many one-liners that need context) is

 Look, other bands, they want to make it about sex or pain, but you know, The Beatles, they had it all figured out, okay? "I Want to Hold Your Hand." The first single. It's effing brilliant, right?... That's what everybody wants, Nicky. They don't want a twenty-four-hour hump sesh, they don't want to be married to you for a hundred years. They just want to hold your hand. 

10) What is the greatest joke you ever heard?

What is a pirate's favorite noble gas? Arrrrrrrrgon

What is a pirate's favorite p-block semi-metal? Arrrrrrrrsenic.

What is a pirate's favorite D-block transition metal? Gold. 

This was told by a graduate student whom I didn't think had a funny bone in his body. I about died.

"Can I come with you?" seems to suffice :)
