Fog of Memories (Open 01)
Morgan stumbled, gloved hands reaching around for a tome he felt should be at his side but gripping nothing in the end. It felt wrong that it was missing but what else could he do about it?
Finally he straightened himself long enough to attempt a good look about the foggy ruins he had appeared in. Nothing about this landscape was even remotely familiar to the young tactician and he pursed his lips in disappointment. This most certainly wasnât where his mother would be, was it?
âI suppose thatâs what you get when leaving things up to chance...â He muttered, then paused. Chance? Had appearing here been chance? The further he wandered the less he found he could recall. Nothing ached, he was certain he had not hit his head in the process of arriving.
In that horrifying moment Morgan realized he could not remember anything on how he arrived or what he had been doing until this moment.
Nothing came to mind. He was lost. In desperation he raised his voice ever so slightly, hoping someone was within earshot.
âIs... is anyone out there?â
