Do you guys ever wonder how horribly the experiments must've actually fucked up sebastian's body? He'd have to drag it around on land because the tail was made for swimming and not for land, his skin probably wouldn't stay healthy without water for extended periods of time and don't even get me STARTED on how it must be rough controlling your body when so many modifications were made to it. Also, the fusion of different species probably has some nasty side effects because that isn't fucking natural and his body probably experienced atleast some rejection, if it still isn't trying to reject the changes to this day.
Pain and side effects that didn't stop the experients probably weren't reported so we will never know how bad it really was or is.
