Fatal Frame? It’s such a good game. It tends to get ranked at least as highly as similar games in the genre but for some reason I don’t see it discussed as often as they are. It’s unfortunate.

Nothing suggested in canon so let’s see. I picture two well-meaning professionals that have no idea what to do with a girl like her, doing their best to connect. They noticed her attachment to video games and supported it fully, even learning to play it themselves so they could play multiplayer with her. They never got even slightly decent at it, but her mother was a bit more into it than her father. They did the same with her particular social difficulties, educating themselves along with her. It was another thing to share together.

It’s just good to speak the truth, and speak it loudly. My friends are pretty and I enjoy spending time with them.
