You can tell who actually figures out anything about the characters they're putting in random eras in the HP Fandom based on where they put Regina Rowle specifically.
I've seen too many people putting her in Marauders Era because they don't know anything about her. She had a rumoured love affair with Grim Fawley, who was thirteen when the Battle of Hogwarts took place. Babe, why are you making Grim's rumoured love affair older than his parents? Grim's been through enough, he doesn't need to have people gossiping about a situationship with a woman twenty+ years older than him. Especially since Regina is meant to be a very kind and supportive character.
She's his friend, she's there for him when his wife goes missing, and people think they're dating because they go into the Love Chamber together. She found him sleeping there after Nel's disappearance and non-judgementally supports him through it. She may have feelings for him, I certainly interpret a mild crush that she, out of respect for him and Nel, does not act on, so like why are people making her WAY OLDER than him? Give my girl some respect, she IS NOT a cougar.
She can be older than him, Nel is two or three years older than Grim, but like, considering she's a Junior Unspeakable at the Ministry during the year 2016 it would be pretty weird if she wasn't AT MOST in her early thirties and just joined really late, although I have her a year younger than Nel because that makes the whole Regina/Grim situation more age appropriate and also lets her be a Junior Unspeakable who maybe just joined a little late. Like I know this series is pretty loose with age gaps (*cough* Bellamort, Remadora and Bleur, and also Krum aging but his taste in girls not *cough*) but come on, there's no way she's still a Junior Unspeakable at fifty to sixty years old.
