i am merely venting about natla season 1
I know they needed a reason for yue and sokka to go to the spirit pond but. did they have to squish momo under rubble for it to happen?? and what does it mean for the most spiritual, sacred pond in the north, if it's permissible to dunk your injured lemur in the waters just as easily as you dunk a sick newborn baby? doesn't that mean that the moon lives on in momo, and they couldve sacrificed him instead of yue?
it just means the pool is for anyone, and the spirits will heal anything. or it reflects badly on yue, for her to frivolously ask for the spirits' blessings to heal a lemur after they saved her life. how presumptuous can you be, to assume the spirits will answer your every call? that's not how deities are ever supposed to work.
look. they didn't have to do any of that to momo. let him be a flying lemur doing flying lemur (cat) things like jumping onto soldiers' faces and scratching the life out of them. not shoving a child to safety and getting squashed by rubble. the physics looked so wrong. and it pained me to see them hurt momo!
WHAT was wrong with the original reasons for going to the pond? it's the safest place for yue to stay, and the most spiritual place for aang to go to. that's it!
